CNN October 10, 2026 1:49 video

CNN gave Organic Intelligence a slot on Hollywood Minute the week the film reached home audiences, with Rick Damigella putting the questions to Costa Dillon about the fifth entry in a series he helped start.

Dillon co-created the Killer Tomatoes franchise with Steve Peace and John DeBello, beginning with a short the three of them made as students and expanding it into the 1978 feature. He co-wrote Organic Intelligence as well, which makes him one of the few people who can speak to all five films from the inside.

The segment runs one minute forty nine. Watch it at CNN.
